How it works
Prepare the text and recipient
Explain the problem, your request and which body can respond. Read the guide below. Then open “Create petition”, complete preparation and select a draft or start a new one. In step 1, fill in the title, public address, recipient and full text.
Choose the signer details you need
In the “Create petition” editor, go to step 2, “Signer details”. Select each detail to request and mark it required only when needed. Check what the recipient needs and review the signing form before publishing.
Take responsibility for the data
In editor step 3, enter the responsible author, any organisation you represent, and a contact for questions and data requests. You can fill in your account’s “Public profile” first and copy it into the editor. Each petition keeps the details you publish. To open signatures later, go to “My petitions” and choose “Delivery list” for that petition. Protect the lists and respond to signers’ requests; read the undertaking below.
Keep access to your account and drafts
Before writing, save the code shown during “Create petition” preparation. To replace it, open “Access and security” → “Recovery code” in your account; the recovery-code help explains the steps. To resume, open “Create petition” and select your draft. Drafts are stored locked in this browser and synced to your account when online. Check save status before leaving; clearing browser storage may remove unsynced copies.
Review, sign and publish
After step 3, choose “Review and sign”. In step 4, check the full page, return to earlier steps if you need corrections, fill in your first signature and accept the declarations. Choose “Sign and publish with my passkey” and confirm with your passkey. Afterwards, find it in “My petitions”. Reference text and translations become fixed; you cannot edit them or add languages later.
What the author accepted
Before publishing, the author agrees to use the details only for delivery, not to share them, to delete them afterwards, to withdraw signatures on request and to report any data leak.
